During our annual Voces Unidas celebration, we gather to unite our voices in celebration of the power and influence of women everywhere. Each and every one of us has a special woman in our lives who has encouraged, empowered, or supported us in good times and bad. This is your opportunity to honor her and to pay it forward.
We invite you to let a special woman in your life know how much you appreciate her support. It could be your mother, wife, mentor, sister, friend or any other person who has made a lasting impact on your life.
When you make a $75 donation honoring a special mujer who has made an impact in your life, you are empowering Mujeres Latinas en Acción participants through our programs and services.
When you honor a mujer:
Together, when we unite our voices, we can send the message of empowerment to Latinas and their families. All proceeds from the Honor a Mujer Campaign support Mujeres Latinas en Acción's programs and services focused on gender violence prevention and intervention, leadership, and financial independence.
If you would like to include a picture with your tribute, or would like to include a message longer than 140 characters, please e-mail email@example.com.
A sister is the most amazing gift from our parents. My sister is my hero in ways large and small. She is a blessing to me!
To my mom, Nelda Lugo - thank you for being a life long inspiration! You are a true Mujer Latina en Accion!
Norma L. Seledon you are a phenomenal mother, daughter, friend, and partner. You inspire so many daily to be their best selves. Thank you!
In honor of my Mami, a strong Latina who always thought that I could do anything I set my mind to. Gracias eternalmente con besos y abrazos.
In honor of Mami, a mujer who was one of the most loving, most giving, and wisest I have ever known.
My mother's eternal smile always reminds me of the lifetime of love and caring she has given me. She is my everything. Te quiero, mamá!
Alicia Amador, you WERE Mujeres! Your legacy lives in every young life and family you touched, in our hearts and in the foundation of MLEA!
For those who have come before us. *picture* What matters most is the love.

I want to honor so many special women, but my mother has played an important role in my life success as a social worker and psychotherapist.
