Mujeres Latinas en Acción invites you to get #EnAccion with us this October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
As we near celebrating 50 years of supporting our community, Mujeres Latinas en Acción invites you to join us for a Virtual 5k to kick-off Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Participation in the race is open to everyone (Register here). You can run, walk, or dance this virtual 5K race anywhere, anytime! As you complete the race, please share and tag us on social media using #SupportSurvivors.

- Domestic Violence is the third leading cause of family homelessness in the U.S.
- More than 3 million survivors of domestic violence are estimated to reside in Illinois
- More than half of Latines in the U.S. know a survivor of domestic violence
Every year, Mujeres Latinas en Acción supports nearly 1,000 survivors through our Domestic Violence Program providing vital crisis support, healing services, legal advocacy, and more. Funds raised will support Latinas and survivors across Chicagoland as they heal, lead, and thrive within our programs.
